Vikings FC Senior Academy Competitive All-Star teams are chosen from the Senior Academy Rec League teams.

They play against teams from various local clubs around Mobile County on Saturdays afternoons.

Area teams this season include, Citronelle, Theodore, East Central Soccer Club, Mississippi Reign and Southern Alliance Soccer.

The Competitive All-Stars will also playing the East Central Spring Fling Tournament.

What is the Vikings FC Senior Academy competitive All-Star program?

Our Vikings FC Senior Academy Competitive All-Star Program is designed for Academy players who have honed their skills and are ready for the next big challenge — competitive league play!

This program gives players the opportunity to take everything they've learned in the Academy and test it at a higher level, preparing them for future tournament play. We continue to follow U.S. Soccer’s Play-Practice-Play methodology, blending skill-building with real-game experiences in a way that keeps training fun, intense, and rewarding.

All of our coaches are certified through US Youth Soccer’s Grassroots Coaching Program and have passed thorough background checks, ensuring a safe, high-quality learning environment.

Our philosophy is simple: Train to Succeed. We believe practice should mirror the intensity of real games — practice hard, play hard, and have fun doing it. Our focus is on building not just better players, but players who love to compete, love their team, and love the game.

In our Program, players experience a variety of playing styles from different teams, learning to adapt, observe, and grow every time they step onto the field. It’s about more than just skills — it’s about soccer IQ, teamwork, and developing the confidence to rise to any challenge.

We work to build strong, cohesive teams that grow together season after season. Players learn to communicate, support each other, play to their team’s strengths, and take pride in representing both Vikings FC and their community.
