Vikings FC

soccer academy

is proud to call the northwestern part of Mobile County — Semmes, Alabama — home. Since 2006, Vikings FC has been dedicated to the education and development of youth soccer players at all levels of play, offering programs that focus on both skill-building and a true love for the game.

Located at 3819 Wulff Road East in Semmes, Al, Vikings FC is home to over 200 players, ages 3–13, with programs running each fall and spring season. Our goal is to create an environment where players can grow not just as athletes, but as individuals.

At Vikings FC, we believe that soccer is more than a game — it’s a foundation for confidence, teamwork, and community spirit.

Academy Rec League Program

Our Academy Rec League programs are designed to teach fundamental soccer skills while helping players develop a true love for the game.

We offer two Rec League programs, both led by our qualified coaching staff — all of whom have completed U.S. Youth Soccer's Grassroots Licensing Courses to ensure the best possible learning experience for every player.

Both programs focus on player development in a positive, encouraging atmosphere where passion for soccer can grow — one game at a time!

Vikings FC Junior Rec League

Our Junior Rec League introduces young players to the basics of soccer through weekly sessions filled with skills, drills, and exciting games. Using the USSF’s Play-Practice-Play methodology, our coaches create fun, game-like environments where players build on their fundamentals while staying active and engaged. Teams practice once a week and play games on Saturdays. Teams are limited to six players per team to insure everyone gets to learn and play. Each division has a minimum of four teams.

Sessions also follow the Play-Practice-Play philosophy, using small-sided games and skill-based activities to reinforce learning while keeping the experience fun and energetic. Teams practiced twice a week and play games on Saturdays. Number of players per team are limited to insure everyone gets to learn and play. Each division has a minimum of four teams.
