Vikings Futbol Club (VFC)
is proud to call the northwestern part of Mobile County — Semmes, Alabama — home. Since 2006, VFC has been dedicated to the education and development of youth soccer players at all levels of play, offering programs that focus on both skill-building and a true love for the game.
Today, VFC is home to over 200 players, ages 3–13, with programs running each fall and spring season. Our goal is to create an environment where players can grow not just as athletes, but as individuals.
At Vikings Futbol Club, we believe that soccer is more than a game — it’s a foundation for confidence, teamwork, and community spirit.
Skills Academy Program
Our Skills Academy programs are designed to teach fundamental soccer skills while helping players develop a true love for the game.
We offer two Academy programs, both led by our qualified coaching staff — all of whom have completed U.S. Youth Soccer's Grassroots Licensing Courses to ensure the best possible learning experience for every player.
Both programs focus on player development in a positive, encouraging atmosphere where passion for soccer can grow — one game at a time!
Junior Vikings Skills Academy
Our Junior Vikings program introduces young players to the basics of soccer through weekly sessions filled with skills, drills, and exciting games. Using the USSF’s Play-Practice-Play methodology, our coaches create fun, game-like environments where players build on their fundamentals while staying active and engaged.
Senior Skills Academy
Designed for our older players, the Senior Skills Academy continues to develop soccer skills with a focus on game understanding and teamwork. Sessions also follow the Play-Practice-Play philosophy, using small-sided games and skill-based activities to reinforce learning while keeping the experience fun and energetic.
Competitive Teams
For players ready to take their skills to the next level, our Competitive Teams offer opportunities to compete against local clubs and City Rec League teams across Mobile County. It's a chance for our players to apply what they've learned, build teamwork, and experience the thrill of game-day competition.
Players for the competitive teams are chosen through evaluations in May/June.
Practice Sessions are on Tues/Thurs nights at 5:30 beginning August 19.
